Beginning the bathroom
Looks like a bathroom, right? I'm pretty certain busting up the concrete floor with a sledge hammer was one of Jude's favorite tasks. (Jude's nodding happily as he reads this now!) Shown here are the cavities for plumbing to the new sink, toilet, and washing machine.
Simply put, we hired contractors to do the plumbing because they know what they are doing. I personally carried nearly 30, 5 gallon buckets of old cement and dirt out of the basement before we layed a new cement floor. I have not mentioned Shiloh yet, but she did help along the way by moving tools around and getting really really dirty.
